Covers an area of 99 hectares and is managed by the State Forester.
Half the park is strictly protected. The total area is mainly hilly, covered with oaks and cork oaks. The bird life is rich in species: nesting owls like the buzzard, owl and barn owl. Mammals such as deer, fox, wild boar and porcupine, populate this wonderful Reserve. On SS Aurelia north from Grosseto to Follonica, exit Massa Marittima and at the junction for Montioni turn left before reaching this center, left again. Metalliferous Hills and Follonica Bay.
